Does anyone know if there is a way to watch this on the ESPN app or watchespn.com afterwards without getting a spoiler score? I haven't signed up/logged in yet (have YTTV as tv provider). Because of PST, little kids, work and my wife's work I rarely can watch games live. Watchespn.com seems to be spoiler city.

Sad , I wonder how many hoops I jump through to see this game. Dump Mizzou and possibly our marketing head. I have Hulu live, appears I have to download ESPN app. Dislike giving that weak sauce network a hit.

Haven't seen Missouri play yet this season...but if they've looked at any of the Duke game film, I would bet we will see some full court pressure.....Hopefully we've worked on that aspect of our game over the last few days....we didn't handle Duke's full court pressure as well as we need to.

Agreed...that hurt us last year

I think as soon as we lost the coin flip, the TV stuff was out of our hands completely. Don't think you can blame our marketing head for this obvious debacle. If we had won the coin-flip, I'm confident the game would have been on BTN at worst.

This right here .. didn't we have a game last year I think that was on the PAC's tv station since the game was at Arizona (I think right?). It's just how it goes.. the Home team's school/conference holds the broadcasting rights.

The best part is that even in Pac-12 country, a large chunk of people have no access to the Pac-12 Network. They've done a terrible job getting it added by providers.

Went to the game last year. Scalped 2 tickets. Ended up in the middle of a bunch of Miznoz fans. What a bunch of ingrates. Please can we just stomp them this year!!!

I wonder if the regular SECN channel will show a replay of the game at some point for those who can't get the SECN+ channel or watch it live?

I watched 70% of the Mizzou game last night against Liberty. I missed the big comeback in the 2nd half and that must have been when Mark Smith did all his scoring. For the most part, this game features all the same players from last year --- with the exception of our (new) Freshmen. I saw a stat that Missouri returns ~90% of their scoring, rebounding and assists from 19-20. Tilmon looked surprisingly weak on the offensive end of the court, and I think he got off to a 2-9 start from the FT stripe this season.

They were also picked to finish 9th/10th in the SEC. As such, I need to go with my gut. Illini will win. However, I feel like it's going to be a blue-collar battle and an ugly contest:

ILL 68
MIZ 62

Mark Smith is undefeated in Bragging Rights games. Ironically I think it was Mark Smith's teammate, a Trent Frazier freshman who went off for 22 points to pull it out in 2017. I absolutely cannot fathom losing again and giving Mark Smith a Braggin Rights sweep,... with the talent we have......

Which of the following teams most grates on your sensibilities. A Illinois victory over which team gives you the greatest satisfaction, bordering on elation. :)
Missouri
Duke
Iowa
or Indiana
Duke , No F*N Question......Duke is a much Bigger Win and I'm sorry , but if there is any truth to they are 100% on schollie offers to ILLINOIS KIDS.. Vomit.

Good idea and one I'll keep in my back pocket for the next time. I got it working through a free Hulu + live TV trial along with the ESPN app, as suggested by a couple others on here
Better yet, make the switch to YTTV. Awesome for watching the Illini. The only games I think I have ever missed were on BTN+ if I didn't want to pay for "Schmack!" talk.

Wonder if they will have that " Boom goes the dyno-mite " announcer......Seems like the logical choice befitting the alternate reality this game has come to....
Used to be 2-5 days before xmas, prime time on ESPN, must see tv....now it's being bumped around by something called " cornhole throwing "
giphy (34).gif

When Jimmy and I nailed that peach basket up on the wall I knew we could never compete against a cornhole contest......

If you have roku and hulu all you need to do is download the espn app to your t.v. then click and it will tell you to activate by going to espn.com/activate. You espn t.v. app will give you a code. Plug it into the espn activation website and you are good to go. I was worried because I only have hulu and didn't think I would be able to watch it. Just tried it, I'm good to go!
So your saying that this work using regular Hulu as your provider or you need Hulu+ and roku? I have hulu and roku but my provider is comcast and it is saying that I can't access SECN+ but maybe that is because my cable package is amped up enough.

If you have Hulu+ live TV you need to set your provider to Hulu on the ESPN app

You need Hulu Live, not regular Hulu to login to the ESPN app with Hulu as your provider.

It's simple, if you have the ESPN channel on whatever cable or streaming package you have, in this case it's comcast, then you can download the ESPN app on your roku or smart TV and watch the game. You'll be prompted to activate the app with your cable or streaming credentials.

Close, but I think you need to make sure you get SECN as part of your package. There's packages that include ESPN/ESPN2, then packages that include ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/SECN/etc. You'll always get those alternate channels if you get the core one.

Only cable providers give you the option to get simply ESPN/ESPN2 as part of your lineup, and you'd be SOL for tomorrow night.

One thing lost in all of this is if we DID win the coin flip, there's a chance this game gets BTN+'d and screws us all. Be somewhat happy ESPN owns SECN so we can even facilitate streaming it.
