I don’t see anyway they score more than 10. The amount of pressure they’ll face upfront should prevent them from throwing over the top, and we’ll have the short field contained.
Who was it—I’d have to look it up—who was supposed to have a dominating pass game and our D had multiple sacks, hits and hurries that their QB was visibly rattled. Was that Wisconsin? They took him out at the end of the game.

I agree, but just takes 1 or 2 blown coverages and boom we have a game.
Exactly what happened when they played Purdue. On the Purdue radio broadcast, they were worried bc even though they were scoring in response, they couldn’t stop the downfield big play. We have a (much) better defense but still, those flyers by NEB are effective.

Nothing really new to add other than the fact I love how Bret Bielema (aka Bert according to so many opposing butthurt/jealous Big Ten fans/alums) is so hated on. This is such an amazing thing for us in the grand scheme of things moving forward lol

Can't wait to beat the huskers this weekend. Here is to no injuries and another win for Illinois!

I'm definitely enjoying the Bielema "revenge tour" so far (and am so grateful he's our head coach) The way Coach Bielema has been operating this season has been incredible

Bielema going back to the Big Ten was pretty much inevitable at some point. Glad he chose Illinois.

Give them hell and don't feel a bit bad about it Illinois fans!:hailtotheorange::chief:
Bret will look just like that if we give him armor and glove plus a thicker beard.

I just cant get over the fact that they are giving up an average of 471.7 yards a game.... And honestly they haven't exactly played good offenses (IU,Rutty, Nw, etc). We will control the clock so they will have less chances for big plays. Also their strength is passing the ball. We are giving up only 143.3 passing yards per game. I know turnovers and other weird things can happen but I feel like they would need to score more than 30 on us to win.... BTW we give up only 8.9pts a game. Numbers don't lie, I think this game is over by time 4th quarter starts...

97 hours, 20 minutes to gametime.......hurry up!!!!

It will be 65 degrees and sunny in Lincoln, so weather isn't going to slow our team down. The Orange and Blue will beat Nebraska for the 3rd straight time.

If we were to win out, and then lose to OSU in the Big Ten title game, wouldn't this pretty much guarantee the Rose Bowl or the Sugar Bowl? Maryland played Michigan close in Ann Arbor. Any team can have an off day. Just not us of course ;)
