This is a mini rant I suppose, but when the other 10 guys had covid, everyone knew it, called it by name, the names were all out there even if not by Underwood. Now with Curbelo, no one wants to say it due to privacy. Kofi is out for concussion protocol. With Curbelo we weren’t supposed to talk about, even though some knew, due to privacy. Who makes up these rules as we go?! **End rant**

Easier to tiptoe through the legal maze of privacy laws when talking generically about a subset group of a larger group. HIPAA generally restricts uses and disclosures of individually identifiable health information, but not health information that does not allow an individual to be identified.
The bruised tail bone turned out to be a hernia. His schedule for excessive walking is a ways off yet I would suppose
I no longer look down on NU anymore. They pull together some good teams under Collins. They may not have all the success yet, but they definitely fight. Saw the UMich game and they clawed back from a double digit deficit.
I think the key folks that they'll need to lock down on are:
1) Audige - their version of Keegan Murray. Athletic, strong. I think DWilliams will take him on.
2) Boo - can be on and deadly, but you never know who shows up. I think Trent will be on him.
3) Nance - mobile and tall. It'll be interesting to see how we guard him. Grandison/Hawkins/BBV?
4) Young - I watched him against UMich and Mich State. He was the reason they won against Mich State and if he sunk a couple of the bunnies he had against UMich, they would've won. I think Kofi needs to lock him down. I didn't think he was very strong because he got bumped around a few times, but Kofi just needs to stay out of foul trouble and keep in front of him with arms up.
5) Beran could be an x-factor to get the crowd going.
I know we should win, with or without Kofi and/or curbello, but something just doesn't sit right with this team. They worry me as a potential bad loss opportunity if we let it happen.

the mildcats have skilled players and yes, they have been in a lot of games close but no cigar......wonder why that is .....???
Audige and Buie seem to have low BB IQ as they take shots randomly and ill-timed ......Young is a turnover waiting to happen and can't hit a crucial FT to save his life.....In fact , their whole squad seems to miss a lot of FT's.....and they shoot a lot of them ......I'm still too lazy to look up any stats but it seems like BTN last night was giving reasons why they keep losing so many close games......
I feel confident about this game no matter if Kofo or Belo are playing .....I learned my lesson on taking my Illini lightly and will never do it again......The pride the Illini have in the program and the fight they show on the court is so special to me ......with that being said I think....................
