Northwestern literally has one guy that would be in our 10 deep.
I understand Rutgers is bad, but northwestern running good stuff. In addition to the leading scorer in the conference, I really like their center and their jitterbug point guard. Plus they have some shooters. If we don’t come ready to play we can absolutely get beat in that building.

That should be priority number one on the game plan....especially not in the first half as has been the norm for other team's stars this season too often.
Having bigs that can shoot is such a positive…it will pull Page away from the hoop, or Tomi/z will have a lot of shots from 3

The last 3 seasons NW has split with us. No win is a sure thing. Really need to stay focused and not overlook them.
I'll say what needs to be said- if we want to accomplish the things we all hope for- this is a must win (for many reasons). Lets absolutely dominate them from start to finish.

It didn't really need to be said. Can't lose any of the next three. They should all be W's and we should be 16-3 heading to Purdue. Have to play them though and as has been pounded in everyone's head, road games are extremely tough....all of them.
Gotta think all the guys that were here last year will have a chip on their shoulder, but especially Ben. I'm guessing he is eager to show off his added strength and toughness guarding Martinelli in the post.

Feels like we always have a road game at Nern around this time where we play terribly, Underwood yells a lot, we all wonder what in the world has happened to this team and then they go on a tear.

Northwestern IS NOT HORRIBLE. They have played teams pretty tough only to lose late in most games. Martinelli is a hand full and always seems to play his best against us. If the Illini just go through the motions the mildcats will pull the upset. Buckle boys and come out fired up and take them out early.
