I've got five apps to cover 7 things i want.

Still better than cable
I had one service (DirecTV) to cover everything I wanted……from 1999 to 2022.

- 100% Cubs
- 100% Illini
- 100% NFL
- 100% classic and new-release movies
- On-demand viewing, as desired
- Ability to pause, delay & record/TiVo

- Plus all channels committed to memory, and nicely sorted numerically

- Plus the ability to jump from game to game with one click.

Perhaps the the peak of our technological society was the mid-1990’s?

Forgot the money and ad difference which are the two most important factors.

I've tempered my expectations. I fear that on Sunday I may look back on Jeff Johnson's observation that "Bad (inexperienced) O-lines don't travel" and realize that this little gem of truth was the determining factor. The line has to give Luke time to set up and throw, or space and holes through which to run. The pocket seems to collapse much too often.
Yeah, agreed. That "bad O-lines don't travel" comment has me concerned as well.

My Dream game

- we establish run early and control the ball
- no Illini turnovers
- defense shuts down Purdue
- 17-14 Illinois

Your dream game has Illinois only scoring 17 points and a close game down to the wire?

In case this helps anyone... I thought I had Peacock through my Xfinity as well but after reading this checked my account and realized I only had basic as well. Was going to subscribe and checked my Xfinity, and I had an option in the app rewards to get Peacock Platinum free . So double check that if you are an xfinity subscriber.
Hey @Illinigirl, at your suggestion I checked my Xfinity account and sure enough I had the same reward. I went through the process of accepting it and installing it and now I have Peacock Platinum free, too. Now I can watch the Illini beat PU on Saturday. Thanks for the heads up.👍

I had Direct TV from 2005 to 2018
Than it seemed we were paying for a lot of channels no one watched or ever would watch
Now the streaming services are getting pretty schiophenic and more expensive
I am begining to wonder, what is the best option?

I like YouTube Tv, plus I use bunny ear antennas for Fox, CBS, ABC NBC games. YouTube Tv can watch four games at once on one tv and then set up 3 more TVs to stream more YouTube channels or antennas.

Does anybody know if you can watch a replay of the game on peacock? Like same day? Or is it only live? Not able to watch live. Does it matter if premium or premium+?
Edit:
Found a chat agent. Replay of the game will be available on the platform. Basic, the premium plan, will have this replay available. At least this is what I was told in chat.

with our single deep safety this 10-20 yard over the middle route will hurt us.
It’ll hurt them too. Listened to a Purdue beat guy talk about the linebacker play is killing them on the outside. the single deep has to come up from 20yrd deep when they miss the tackle (very frequently). Also, they can’t cover the slot receivers. We may struggle with our single deep but they are worse (apparently). I’d say if we can get some push, let’s just run the ball. Kill the clock. And hit isaiah occasionally to keep them honest.
