I'm also unwilling to pay for Starbucks coffee
I will frivolously "waste" my money at Starbucks quite often. However, our apartment building has free coffee in the lobby for tenants, and I have to say ... when I click "Cappuccino" and watch the machine pour water, milk and coffee into the cup, I have to say it cracks me up that I will give Starbucks $5.95 to do the same thing. :ROFLMAO:

Back to the topic of Peacock, though, I wonder how many bars (or at least ones that are common spots to watch games) already have it. The following relatively high profile games (or at least high profile opponents...) have already been on Peacock so far this year:

East Carolina at #2 Michigan
Delaware at #7 Penn State
#8 Washington State at Michigan State

FWIW, Purdue actually plays at 2:30 pm on Peacock the week after this vs. Iowa, too ... lol.

I’ll need to enroll for Purdue. Can you advise specifically what’s required? Must buy Premium?

Someone said Maryland will be Peacock too, but I don’t see it (or game time) on the schedule yet.
We still have Xfinity cable, and a couple years ago it started giving Peacock (all Peacock) free to some subscribers. This year it got reduced to just Basic.

I presume there is some link within the Basic channel that would allow you to upgrade. If you don't have Peacock at all, then I'd just search for it online and subscribe separately. Apologies if you were asking a more technical question, technology is not my strength.

After living with the cable for 40+ years, and just recently cutting that cable, I've found that the inconvenience of having 3 or 4 OTHER services whose cost is now nearly equal to my previous cable bill, is not all it's cracked up to be... Beginning to regret that decision...
I've been a Direct customer for over 15 years. It's expensive, but sooooo easy. Streaming services just can't match the ease. That being said, I find myself signing up for several of them just for the same reason I just signed up for Peacock (they have a program or movie I want to watch).

Call me a conspiracy theorist if you must, but man do I feel like the at-least-somewhat-niche shows I want to watch are always conveniently spread out evenly between Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Peacock, etc .... lol.

Checking on the reaction of the board to this game being on Peacock:

Yep, still the same.

Just signed up for peacock. I think I'm going to get ahead of the curve and subscribe to CBSsports premium, abc+, etc.

In case this helps anyone... I thought I had Peacock through my Xfinity as well but after reading this checked my account and realized I only had basic as well. Was going to subscribe and checked my Xfinity, and I had an option in the app rewards to get Peacock Platinum free . So double check that if you are an xfinity subscriber.

Can you Peacock users offer advice on recording options? It seems my iPad might work, but how? Native functions vs apps, etc?

We’re avid cyclists, so might keep the subscription longer term to see events like the Vuelta. However, the European events are more practical via recordings than live.

They already have and will continue until my last breath on this planet...........They really really do....................
That sounds reasonable. There are legal bounds to the type of care they can provide you after you stop breathing. Would hate to see hundreds of neighbor ladies go to jail for uhhhhhhh pounding on a no longer orange and just blue corpse. Happy birthday!
