BU gets to face another first year HC, which I imagine can cause some headaches for game planning. Wes Miller was on a pretty good roll at UNC-G so maybe he gets this Cincinnati team playing better than projected. Cincinnati is 96th in Kenpom hasn't played anybody good yet, but they already moved up from 117th to start the season. Marquette was ranked 95th when we played them and already moved up to 71st. A good reminder that we as fans, and even the team, don't know exactly who we are up against this early in the season. Especially against a first year HC.
Just saying it's possible Cincinnati is better than we think. But I'm chomping at the bit to see how Curbelo plays. I hope he comes out and puts on a show. There is a lot of pressure on his shoulders and I hope he is not letting it get to him. He will be a star, he just needs to settle in.

Was going to make a similar point on Marquette as they just picked up 2 pretty solid wins to get to 5-0, and if they beat the Bonnies on Sunday, they’re probably a top 25 team come Monday. Kenpom doesn’t mean a ton until everyone’s played 9 or 10 games.

Curbelo needs to focus on playing point guard, not putting on a show or playing like the new Ayo. We don't need him to score at all, so not sure why he is shooting so much.
Cincinnati goes 10 guys deep. They have several bigs to throw at Kofi.
I believe they will be unranked come Monday. Which might be good for this team. After all the jawing and trash talking from the players, that Marquette was a great wake up call.

Absolutely no chance they fall out of the top 20, let alone top 25. Marquette is piling on wins, and I’m assuming most of the AP knows Kofi missed the game. I say they check in at 15.

During the Marquette game, Trent, I think, went down hard under the basket and Kofi sprinted off the bench to help him up and make sure he was okay. Pretty good All American teammate.
