Oakland gave Ohio State everything they wanted. Have to come with better intensity for that one. How did Rocket Watts get there from MSU?
Looks like it's mostly up I-69 and then down I-75.
This Oakland team is gonna be tough and they are going to get a lot of shots up ... We will need our B+ game at minimum ...

I'm hoping we start to run some action getting Rodgers and Domask the ball in the post. Rodgers can bully people down there and Domask has a polished back to the basket game. And both are good distributors.

Watched them play tOSU last night. Oakland was decent. OSU was really bad (until the last 5-6 min)! They definitely have some shooters and Townsend looked very talented. He was torching OSU. If we come out like we did last night it won't be good. We are a much more talented team than them and OSU though. Just have to come out and play.
I'm not sold on this. OSU has a lot of talent on their roster, a bunch of very high 4, borderline 5 stars, they're just younger than us. They're my dark horse candidate to finish Top 3 in the B10 this year. They should be good this year, though they will suffer from inconsistency. The only question is how much- that team was pretty much rollin by the end of season last year... In any case, we need to show up against Oakland. Can't have the same start we had in this one that's for sure.

Sounds like Oakland played some zone against Ohio State... and their coach has a good sense of humor.
Oakland would really struggle with last year's Illini team because we didn't even know what we were going to do each time we got the ball on offense
I wonder if his sense of humor is as good as Izzo's right now? JMU is no slouch but IZZO is a little ticked. It's my opinion that the loss of Hauser was going to hurt them. They are guard heavy and do have some big men but Hauser had a very good all around game. He seemed like the glue that held them together.

And the radio was ahead of the gameplay on TV which also made it difficult.

Pause is your friend. I stream the radio on my phone and have the game on the TV. I then just wait for the radio call to say something distinct. I then pause and wait to see that thing happen on the TV, then unpause.
I can manipulate both to make it work when the games are on a better platform that Big Ten plus though. I can really only manipulate the radio call in this scenario.
If our free-throw shooting does not improve its going to cost us some games. I would personally volunteer my time to teach them how to make free throws. Ever since the sixth grade while growing up, we had to make eight out of 10 free throws before we could leave practice. To this day and I’m 64 you throw me a ball and I’m gonna make seven or eight out of 10 free throws it’s not that tough. Rhythm and concentration.
Now we just have to hope the players are as fired up as the fans.
