Is it because they prefer high percentage 2-pointers and only take 3s when they get good ones? It seems like an intelligent way to play. If they were less judicious with their 3-point attempts, their percentage would likely be a lot lower.
Watching Penn against Yale, Penn is not very good defensively. The middle is open for Keaton to drive and Mirk to clean up any misses. Roll Andrej and Boz on Power. Run him off the line. They're 346th in the nation in 2 point field goal percentage which was why I was confused at their shot diet (they seem to much prefer 2s than 3s, but they're horrible from 2 and very good from 3)
