In my opinion chawks biggest challenge is still letting the game come to him. He’s got a lot of Giorgi in him in that way, though play style is vastly different.

I'm just hoping he can adjust to post defense. its a different animal.

Or he knows he's not a pro and is sticking with Illinois because he likes it and will have a good degree at the end.

I don't know if he will play much, but I respect Lieb's contribution and dedication to the Illini. It seems as if he is a guy who goes to practices, looks to have worked hard with AF, and doesn't appear to be a cancer in the locker room. I would think that would take some grit, knowing that your PT will be small, at best. With the way recruiting is going, he might be the last of his type.

I hear ya. For 1 game I probably wouldn't --been annoyed with how they've split off a game in the past. But for 2, they'll get me to sign up.

Well folks, basketball is finally here. I'm dialing down my expectations for today --just want to see guys out there and let coach experiment with different line-ups. Hope they're as excited as us die-hard fans.

Has Underwood said how he approaches exhibition games? I've been too lazy to watch all the interviews posted --any summary appreciated.
