Congrats to Jordan for absolutely dealing tonight. I know Pujols will get a lot of credit but Montgomery just hit a new career milestone. After getting pulled in his last outing, he smelled blood from the first pitch.

I (jokingly) thought it was going to be all downhill for Montgomery after he finally gave up a run (on his third start as a Cardinal). Then he throws a Maddux in his fourth start...

The pitch Albert launched was like a foot above the zone. Just insane.

Just 3 away from A-Rod, 7 away from 700.

I happened to have it on the Cubs broadcast after the home run. They mentioned that it was the 2nd highest pitch from the center of the strike zone that was hit for a home run this season. The only one that was higher was Kyle Higashioka's home run off of Frank Schwindel.

I'm going to the game on Saturday night vs. Atlanta. I'm kinda hoping that I see Albert hit 697 in that game.

Awesome! Enjoy the game. I’ve got tickets for the Sunday game over Labor Day. The way things are going, Albert might knock his 700th that day ;)

Can't believe Tramadol does anything for you. For me it does just enough that I don't feel like I'm dying. Just more like I'm slowly getting crush instead.
I take Tramadol 50 mg tabs 2-3 times a day.......I don't get a big high on the Tramadol compared to a 10 mg Lortab , per se , but it has eliminated 80-90 % of the arthritis pain in my left arm , wrist and fingers ......I guess it allows the 420 to be a better high as I am not in much pain at all.....I experienced great arthritis pain for almost a year , so it is working for me better than expected.......I know after my surgery Friday i got a Lortab 5 mg script ( 5 tabs total ) and was told not use Tramadol while taking the Hydracodone.....my left arm and wrist started hurting after 3 days of no Tramadol......I guess certain pain relievers work differently for different peeps....All I know is that Tramadol has been a life saver for my arthritis pain and my 420 use is better than in a long time.......I haven't had any alcohol since I started the Tramadol on July 15th...........

I also take Meloxicam 7.5 mg once a day for pain.....maybe that in conjunction with the Tramadol is the difference that i am experiencing compared to your situation........

thanks for sharing , bro......................................

That's good to hear you get some relief. I don't get much relief and the VA and Army never wanted to provide me anything else. I have limited cartilage in my knees (I'm 37 and have needed knee replacement for 5 years now, but they say I'm too young) and degenerative disk disease in my back and neck. But I have been told my issues in my back shouldn't cause the pain I suffer from. Surprisingly when I went to the game against the Rockies 2 weeks ago, the seats at Coors Field didn't hurt my back though. Which was great.

And I work for the government, which means I can't partake in 420.

Thats a bummer ...........Have you ever taken Meloxicam before ?????...................My pharmacist directly told me to not take more than 1 Meloxicam daily so that seems to me to think it is powerful.......I like the Tramadol because it's a synthetic opiod (sp ?) and purer than other pain relief or so my doctor told me.....My bestest bud told me the same thing you posted about Tramadol and he doesn't take Meloxicam either.........Funny how some things work better than others on diff peeps......All I know is it is working great for me and my doc told me she will refill as often as needed within certain timelines....

JMHO
I thought this even before the Rockies paid the Cardinals to take him. Now that I see him every game I am even more sure about it. That trade could end up looking as good as the Brock trade.
