Not Illini related, but it is sad to see what Michigan has allowed Adidas do to their uniforms. They have gone from classic to God knows what it is.

Matte navy with white unis has been the worst combo so far. Those lids are only going to work with all blue or B/O/B

I didn't care for how the helmets looked today. They came across as being black unless it was a closeup shot. Maybe with a different color uni they'd look better.

This is obviously all just personal opinion, but I completely disagree. I think the B/W/W may be the best combo they've worn all season.

Haven't seen the helmets on TV/highlights yet, but they looked outstanding in person.

Edit: Just watched the IPHD highlight video and I see what you mean.

So far, I've heard from a bunch of non-Illini fans that they love our new uniforms (several different versions) and that they are better than what they've seen from other schools. At least we got that going for us! ;)

Not a fan of the white...actually, haven't been a fan of any combination yet this year.

opinions are like...

i think the uni's will be a huge sucess as soon as we get all the combinations.

im the guy who likes the white uni's with the flat blue helmet. i am still
looking for blue jersies and/or a special "grey ghost" uni. the metallic orange helmet is still my favorite though and would look fantastic with a grey jersey and orange accent. the white helmets are by far my least favorite. thought i'd like em until i saw them live. i thought they were to be a flat white with a metallic orange block I.

Looks like those gray jerseys that showed up and quickly disappeared from fanatics were real after all.

Interested to see what pants/helmet sticker they use. An Illini uni with no orange at all would be a first.
