"I have no idea to this day what got into that Italian quarterback. The truth is, I don't want to know. Some things are best left unsaid. I tell you that quarterback soared, higher or farther than any Giant fan dares to dream. It was like some beautiful bird flapped into our drab little cage and made our misery dissolve away. And for the briefest of moments, every last Giants fan felt like their team was relevant. "

Illini grads are SMART !
The agent...not so smart. I get it, Tommy is hot right now, but trying to shake an extra $10k (double the previous fee) out of a small business after you already had a gentleman's agreement is a shady move. The reputational risk was definitely not worth $10k and shows a lack of strategic thinking on the agent's part. Did he think the owner was just going to cancel the public event and not give a reason why? Good on Tommy though for showing up and making things right.

I watched it. Tommy wasn't having a great game, and neither did Tyrod, though he did connect on a pass to keep the Giants in the game late.

The typical gripe with Tommy is that he takes a lot of sacks. I think he had one this game, and Tyrod escaped with zero? Something like that, though I may have lost track with all of the penalties. There was clearly a planned effort to escape and throw it away. It really doesn't matter who they put back there when they have an offensive line that gets abused in any given game.
