Some of the takes here are giving off these vibes. I know nothing of the real facts of the situation here (as do most on this board) and am truly hoping that TJ is innocent here.

For anyone who wants a run down…just go look at Jeff Johnson’s Twitter from the past 12-24 hours
We don't need you to provide details, but in your estimation(best guess).....do you think that we see TJ again in uniform this year? Nobody knows what to think right now and truthfully.... we're really not entitled to know what to think.

TSJ may be innocent. I certainly hope he is for all parties involved. But he may also be guilty. We just don’t know yet and to assume one way or the other at this point is inappropriate.

GMan....assuming you are familiar with this board, you should know that whether or not a statement is appropriate gets little or no consideration by most posters.

But, on this subject, I am deeply appreciative of the number of posters who are posing sincere and insightful questions as well as the many informed and genuine responses....a refreshing response to a dire subject.

TJ didn’t withhold anything from Josh or Brad. Josh and Brad are also girl dads they wouldn’t choose money and winning over covering up a sexual assault. You realize Josh knows way more than he let on yesterday right?
Don't be so sure Josh knows more than he what he said yesterday in regards to any specifics of what happened in Kansas. He was very careful in how he responded to the question concerning the conversation with TSJ. Don't forget Josh is an attorney and would know since he is not TSJ's attorney, any statement made by TSJ to him could potentially be used against TSJ in the future. Unless Josh is representing TSJ, any statements by TSJ to him would not be protected by the attorney/client privilege.
Josh is not going to step into that mess.

I hear you. And as the father of daughters, I am sensitive to sexual violence. But, punishing TJ before the case is heard is unfair too. You are basically saying that he is guilty until proven innocent! Not sure what actually happened, but I don’t think it is fair levy a punishment before all the facts are known. We all should have the presumption of innocence UNTIL resolution of whatever charges occurs. If guilty, then the punishment should be commensurate with the crime.
Absolutely!

Lol. Ok man. I don’t want to sound like a D but I’m not just guessing that Josh knows more.

One thing I haven’t seen is getting some perspective from KU people. Feel like they have a better idea about the dynamics of Lawrence PD and the DA. Also have decency considering the Arterio Morris case. I want to clarify that these two cases aren’t identical, but Morris was dismissed from the team very quickly whereas TJ hasn’t.

I would agree with DJM's assessment of the JW presser. However, to me it raises a question. JW admitted that he and BU had early-on conversations with TSjr. about the incident. Would it not be safe to say, neither of them being his attorney, that both could be called to testify as the content of that/those conversations or would that not be allowed due to hearsay?

Unfortunately I do know. It’s a shame.
