Does loss-of-value insurance come into play here if the charges are dropped or if heā€™s found not guilty? I would imagine that a player like TSJ would have coverage.

If Judge Lawless and her dad are on the bench and she reaches her hand over the "TRO approved" hat then grabs the "TRO denied" hat, while her father leans back and hides his smirk, I'm gonna be pissed.

If you are triggered by me saying that people should better educate themselves about the different ways that sexual assault victims respond in different situations, and just because they didn't respond the way you think they should doesn't mean an assault didn't take place, then you are part of the problem.

And if me saying that upsets you, I really don't care.

I also want to point out that my original post was not making a statement as to what I think happened with TSJ. I hope that an assault didn't occur. But I don't know. None of us do. However, my post was making a general statement about how people respond to sexual assault (and sexual assault accusations).
You come across as smug that's why. Just because you regurgitate some official dogma not everyone agrees with doesn't make you educated on a topic. Do you need any help getting off your high horse?

She's not excellent and I am still worried that she will deny the TRO based on her passed positions. She was mainly in family court in Springfield and then got a favor and was appointed to family court judge. She is by no means excellent. I have seen her paperwork as well. It was sloppy as it could be in family court and while a judge.

Colleen Lawless was appointed to the federal bench last summer after about 5 years as a Sangamon County judge. Very smart, hardworking and fair. Also a former Illinois Wesleyan softball player.
I'm guessing the Central District of Illinois Federal Court in Springfield, IL?

My brother in law got his vasectomy done from him. Even came home with a ā€œSwim team cut by the vasectomy king!ā€ T-shirt. No, Iā€™m not kiddingā€¦

Turns out my dad knows of him. Heā€™s originally from Colp and ironically (tying this all back to basketball) he played basketball at Marquette from 1977-1981.
