Peacock?...or wait do I have that confused with Dr. Hatchet's vasectomy channel?Anyone know if the hearing will be available to watch live via live stream.
What's ridiculous is the position that TSJ is in right now, that's what is ridiculous. The University put TSJ at the bottom (last) of all involved due to this policy. To protect themselves and letting their student athletes go it alone or....have to file a TRO.What policy do you want in place for the schoolboard and teachers. How about the hospital for their medical staff. This notion that nobody should suffer any adverse consequences when charged with a felony is ridiculous. There is no perfect system. People are flawed.
I get it. He is playing basketball games not doing surgery but the policy is there for the benefit of the University. Believe it or not most people charged with felonies get convicted. This may be an exception to that but you can’t establish policies for the least likely outcome.
Worked with an X Navy Seal. He said they would go to a bar and have people take swings at his Seal friends. They were constantly having to deal with arrests because people had something to prove.I don't think that is likely. People seem to forget that his is not simply an accusation. Normal people cannot just conjure up an arrest against basketball players they don't like.

It's more than an accusation. It's a criminal charge - a felony. And presumption of innocence is regarding a court of law, not public opinion or the policies governing other institutions that may have other codes of conduct.I must have missed when TSJ was convicted of rape. You seem to be making a couple of huge assumptions here. Maybe I'm misunderstanding.
Exactly, that fact that charges were brought on a "he said vs she said" passing by incident with no witness is what make this whole ordeal mindnumbing. It's more than an accusation. It's a criminal charge - a felony. And presumption of innocence is regarding a court of law, not public opinion or the policies governing other institutions that may have other codes of conduct.

Not understanding your point. A criminal charge is, in fact, "a formal accusation made by a government entity." Straight from Wikipedia (ya, I know, not a lot of time to do legal research tonight). So, saying "It's more than an accusation," to me, really does not make sense. It remains an accusation until is is proven to a jury/judge beyond a reasonable doubt. This particular formal accusation is extremely serious, and the publicly available supporting "evidence" seems very weak. That is the crux of the matter with both the legal proceedings and university policy I believe. It's more than an accusation. It's a criminal charge - a felony. And presumption of innocence is regarding a court of law, not public opinion or the policies governing other institutions that may have other codes of conduct.
