Didn't mind the finale. But yes, I loved the first few seasons more than the last few.

I finished House of Cards in under 24 hours.

Think i'm going to start Bates Motel next. Has anyone watched it?

Just started Bates Motel! 3 episodes in and I already know I'll finish the season.

An excellent show was Homicide: Life on the Street. Same team subsequently did The Wire. Many of the episodes were self-contained.

The first North American BBC production, Copper, is good. Period piece (1865) cop/crime show set in NYC. Another Tom Fontana production.

HBO's Oz (yet another Tom Fontana production), while not for the faint of heart, was another good show.

Archer. I can't believe I forgot to mention Archer before. Inappropriate and offensive in nearly every aspect, and so well done. Not enough episodes in each season, either.

Just finished season 1 of Bates Motel. I went in with low expectations and came out pleasantly surprised. I'm hoping that season 2 isn't too dressed up with shock value. Season 1 handled suspense without getting overly dramatic.

I like Copper. I cannot even tell you why but I like it. I don't love it though. By that I mean I'm not impatient to watch it when new episodes come out.

Tried Orphan Black a while back but couldn't get into it. Does remind me of one that I forgot though, Luther, from BBC. Start Idris Elba or something like that - he starred in Pacific Rim also. If you do watch Luther, probably a good idea to turn on closed captioning.

Thought I'd give Orphan Black another shot so I started watching it last night. It's not what I thought it was. Apparently, I've never watched it. It does seem interesting, though, so thanks to those who mentioned it.

After a strong recommendation from my best friend, I've just begun to watch "Psych" on Netflix. Has anybody else watched this show?

My brother loves it, but it isn't for me. I'd go for Community before Psych any day, if you haven't seen that one you are truly missing a gem.

LOVE Community. Abed is one of my favorite characters of all the shows I watch.

Regarding lost- I watched 5 seasons on Netflix when I had knee surgery and then had Season 6 on DVR. Seasons 1-3 were solid, 4 was ruined by the writers strike, and I loved 5. Six was the worst season of a television series I've ever seen.

I also have all 3 seasons of GoT on Bluray, I got them all super cheap too. I bet I paid under $80 for all 3. I'm going to start watching them again soon.

I just finished season 5 of Dexter, but canceled Netflix to grab HBO and catch a few of those seasons while GoT is on. I've enjoyed it up until then, but hear it's downhill from here on out. I feel like they should have waited a season or two to kill Rita, but it's based on books, so I guess that's what they are supposed to.

The Walking Dead has been brutal this 2nd half of the season. I've been bored out of my mind watching them, and I watch it on DVR. I'm hoping it picks up with the new characters (One of them, which I loved in Band of Brothers, by the way).

Haven't there only been 2 episodes of Walking Dead so far this half season? I didn't love them but after the finale of the prior half season I think they need a couple episodes to regroup people.

Agreed. I thought the mid-season premiere was lackluster, but last week's episode was pretty good. With the new characters coming into play, more action and tension will be had. As a reader of the comics, I am excited for the direction the show looks to be heading.

I've read that Hannibal is a good show. Haven't watched it, but will give it a try eventually.

A really interesting show is The Returned. French production the Sundance Channel picked up. Won an Emmy for Best Int'l Drama, deservingly so IMO. Kind of show that stays with you. Looking forward to season 2.
