That was done so well, in so many different ways. I had been looking forward to that scene for a long time.

Orphan Black season 2 starts this weekend. I watched the S1 recap with Wil Wheaton on Sunday. Can't wait for this to start...

Just finished House of Cards season 1. Not to bad for a netflex series. Kind of slow but the last 3 episode made up for it.

ICYMI - Amazon Prime last week secured the rights to a bunch of older (ended and soon to be ending) HBO shows: The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, The Wire, Big Love, Deadwood, Eastbound & Down, Family Tree, Enlightened, Treme, early seasons of Boardwalk Empire and True Blood, as well as mini-series like Band of Brothers, John Adams and more.

Amazon (Bezos) is clearly determined to be a big player in video distribution (and production).

For those who haven't seen The Wire & Deadwood, do yourself a favor. Several other good shows there too.

I thought Deadwood was fantastic, second only to the Soprano's. Drunken Calamity Jane might be the best ever supporting character in a series. I tried watching The Wire and gave up after 6 or 7 episodes. I just couldn't get into it.

Although I think the show is rediculous, it is my guilty pleasure and I'm really looking forward to the return of 24 next week.

For any of you IL posters who watch it, the second season of the Netflix original Orange is the New Black was made available for streaming on Friday.

Just started watching the first season the other day. Two episodes in, and while I think it's pretty good, I don't see the hype. I will do my best to reserve judgment until I get towards the end of the season.

Speaking of Netflix, I tried out the In-Betweeners a few weeks ago, and I don't think any show has ever made me laugh as hard and as often as this show. Every episode is pretty much a riot. Warning: It is extremely vulgar.

Agree. Orange is a pretty good show, but doesn't come close to matching it's hype.

Will check out the In-Betweeners.

Netflix's entry into original production has shaken up the playing field for the better. Am hopeful about Amazon (really liked the Bosch pilot) too.

I've started watching a few new shows too. I'm enjoying Longmire on Netflix. Also if you want a good laugh Louie is a great show. Glad to have found those two after finishing BrBa and SOA.

I enjoy Longmire as well. Nothing flashy (it is set in Wyoming after all), but it's solid entertainment.

Louie is fantastic. Perfect blend of dark/satirical humor and drama.

Anyone else watching Gang Related? The first few episodes have been decent. I'm interested to see where they go with it.

Louie is a lot better than I expected. He age related humor and his place in life (with two little girls) hits close to home. Though I am happily married. I still enjoy the humor.

I really like Longmire. Always been a fan of Katee Sackhoff. Just a really well thought out show.

I should also add that it is a British show. I think there is an American version, but I haven't seen it. I know UK programs aren't exactly for everyone, and I was skeptical at first. But I'm glad I tried it out.

I love words like "trainers", "fit", "birds", "ballox", and plenty of others from this show. I haven't watched it for a couple years, and I thought they weren't making new episodes?

I watched the first 2 so far, going to watch episode 3 tonight.

I think it has some potential for sure.

So everything I am reading is that GOT next week is going to be an awesome episode. Even though they allude to it last season via a raven message, The Wall will get some big time help soon.

Any fans of ShowTime's Californication out there? The series finale is Sunday. I've always been a fan, but the last 2 seasons have been a letdown with the occasional standout episode. Despite this, I'm sticking through until the end.

What is it with ShowTime not being able to close out a series properly? The recent disappointment surrounding Dexter comes to mind.
