I absolutely stand by my statement. Now I didn't say it was going to happen, I said that's how I see him.
He averaged 15, 14, and 7 in high school. Now granted college is more challenging, but I think Underwood would be a fool not to utilize Rodgers to facilitate the offense. If you have a strong defender pressuring the PG, we can say ok, lets see how your SF or even PF does against Rodgers facilitating the offense. When we have more shooters on the team, a guy like Rodgers who can drive and dish can add assists, and you can't let a 6'6" athlete drive and assume the C can handle it like a 6'2" guard. Rodgers from the pinch post or working the high low. He has a PGs vision and passing ability. We can use those skills all over the court in ways a traditional PG isn't used.
Whether or not he gets to 6 or 7 assists will come down to how he is asked to play by the staff. I just think they'd be fools not to use his PG schools in creative ways.
