Wow. Playing tomorrow in a game closed to the public. An MLB first.

I would really like to watch that. Imagine a home run or a foul ball. Post Apocalyptic.

Bailey, don't know if it's gonna be broadcast, but since I work at home...if it's on, I'm watching!! Gonna be weird...

It will be fun to watch, assuming it's on. When I click on the TV on my MLB app, it says that my game has not started yet, which suggests that it will be available.

That May 28 date is brutal. It's an off day that would have been used to travel from Toronto to Houston. And that would have been the only off day between May 15 and June 10.

That is probably the best solution when trying to fit in 2 games, with the road team never again visiting that city. But, this is going to really strain the pitching staff.

FWIW, it's not great for BAL either. They'll now have to play every day between May 15 and June 7, but at least the 28 was an off day between two home series for them.

This may be the strangest game the White Sox have ever played, and that includes
-a whole season played in shorts
-Philip Humber's perfect game (never heard from again)
-Adam Dunn pitching

Are we ever good in April, by the way? Where are the bats?

Its also brutal that games could have been moved to Washington with the Nats on the road. Typical move from the Orioles.

The shorts were worn in 1 game. Still a bad look, but 161 short of a full season.

Unless they win out, this will be the 6th straight campaign entering May without a winning record, and since the next three were all 1 game over .500, this is the ninth straight season where we've entered May without being a solidly winning team.

I know, it's a long season, but I've been living in Detroit a few years and the Tigers are always hot right out of the gate. Jealous :(

Comment from a sports consultant guy this morning on wgn news, non -Baltimore person, stated logistics were too difficult to overcome on short notice.

Haha. Watching the recording. Abreu hits a foul ball, Hawk says "well there's a . . . Well there's a foul ball. If you know hawk he always says "there's a souvenir. ;)"

Yep. Definitely very weird today. Especially in the 1st when the O's announcers acknowledged Hawk and Stoney sitting one booth over, where normally they can't hear each other...and this game they were like loud and clear!

Let's get the F out of Baltimore, on to the Twinkies!!!

I had dinner with a buddy last night who is a huge Sox fan and asked if he had seen any of the game. He said it was very weird and even more weird because he said once Baltimore went up early, Hawk "checked out" and you could hear the other broadcast crew almost more than the Sox team.

It had to be a very surreal scene.
