Really think as of right now, our '18 class winds up being Finke, Ayo, Stewart, for sure. The staff is still looking for a big guy to really hone in on, but from what I have heard they will oversign by 1, if they need to for Ayo.

All I have seen about THT is that chances are he is staying "close to home." What have you heard in reference to THT going to Northwestern? What signs have you noticed? What about George Conditt? He has said a lot of Pro Illini stuff. I keep saying this and I might be in the minority, but I don't think they are going to take all of these wings next year. THT, Finke, or Stewart c'mon down. I have also seen that Jordan might graduate early & an extra schollie might be out there. At that point I can see them taking 2 wings and a point, in addition to a big.

Thanks for the info. Like I said, all I saw from him was a bunch of towel waiving. 20 points was a promising start though.

oops - i tried to give him an extra 3 points. Think I'm distracted by THT news and Quintana trade - can't even read numbers correctly. (I'm a Sox fan btw and I like it -- but hate helping the Cubs. Oh well.)

Maybe Iowa State can land THT. I know they're high on him from reading their message board talking about the Cyclones coaching staff on his visit. Don't want to have to play him in purple, but that family connection to NW plus living practically down the block from their campus gives me bad vibes on this one.
Surprised AZ isn't here - Compton is practically an Arizona farm team.

Agree with this. Would prefer THT over Finke but if we dont get him I dont want NW to.

Exactly, seems like we are out of the THT race for reasons that don't have as much to do with us as it does other politics. Will be interesting to see who we can land, but IF we can land Ayo, I hope its early because that could really get us in with some promising talent.

Brazdeikis would really fit perfectly into this team. Ayo, Brazdeikis, and a big would be about as ideal of a class as you could ask for.

Oakland Soldiers really putting it to Ignas and Shittu and CIA Bounce. Up by 20 (58-38) mid-way through the 2nd half. Sow just scored 8 points in a row including a couple of emphatic dunks.

This is the first time in a long time where I really am not worried about our recruiting class. So many good options we are going after, with a good mix of Elite top 50 guys and a bunch of guys that are in the 80-150 range. No matter what combo of 3/4 kids we get I think we will end up having a really nice class to go along with a good core for 2018. Future is so bright

And Liddell gets another impressive throwdown.
The gym is packed btw -- announcer says they aren't letting anybody else in. Lots of talent on display -- K is here to go along with most of those mentioned in the previous game. Think he's looking at Garland, who is playing tonight after sitting out today's game.
Beal up 27-18 after being down 13-5 early. Liddell, offensive rebound and put back -- 29-18.

Best team I've seen down here and now with Cal Supreme losing twice, MOKAN losing twice and Howard Pulley losing tonight - they may end up leaving pool play as the only undefeated team and the Peach Jam favorite. They've already beaten Cole Anthony's PSA Cardinals.
