Underwood went to the Matt Nagy school of bye week preparation.
This is quite the disturbing trend that's taking place since the Loyola game.

I think there is no doubt the loss of Gentry hurts more than expectedAny chance some of this is because of the assist coach changes? Underwood talks about how the assists alternate creating game plans. Our assistants are killing it in recruiting but may not be great in game planning?
out coached 2 games in a row…by a very large margin…yikesThe only thing “elite” has been how poorly coached and prepared this team has been against last 3 real opponents. Some of the worst offensive basketball you’ll ever see.
Arkansas State was the weird noise coming from the engine.
Marquette was the check engine light.
This felt like engine failure.
We barely made a shot.I mean, we didn't even make a run in the second half.
Wrong. It is obvious to see where the players get their heart of the game from, Underwood had the open mouthed Weber look multiple times tonight. Once again, zero in game adjustments and completely embarrassing. Any defense of this coaching staff or team is absolutely unwarranted.
He busts his tail out there, and if there’s any criticism that actually makes sense it’s that he tries to do too much. But even if you accept the stupid narrative that he doesn’t care or doesn’t work hard enough, there were four seniors out there who should have known better. Those guys were complete vapor out there and packed it in when things got tough. The comment i saw on the game thread that I think might be more accurate than most criticisms of curbelo is that the team has adopted his lackadaisical and carefree attitude. I see that. No fire when things start going bad. Immediately start whining and shaking their heads instead of righting the ship. Look like they are playing on the playground instead of having a system. It has to end now. This team is as talented as any we’ve had in a long long time and we look like garbage.
Underwood has to change the attitude of the team now…and I think installing an actual offense might be a good idea on top of that.
Might be post of the day. There’s been a lot congratulations passed around to a newly assembled coaching staff that hadn’t, you know, coached yet.I think there is no doubt the loss of Gentry hurts more than expected
I pulled a gif off the same page this was on and sent it to a friend. All them feels I didn’t want to feels.
I also wrote Marquette off as in the rearview mirror … I don’t know if I can do the same with this. I mean, we looked like a Bubble team! Praying this sparks a fire with us, but I’m honestly terrified for tomorrow. The good news is…..screw it. There is no good news.
I wasn’t too concerned about the Marquette game, but this was flat out embarrassing. How do you start out so sharp and then lay an egg for the next 30 minutes straight?
