That's another pretty good choice, but when Eddie arrived Levi lost minutes, plus Eddie was big because, like Ayo, he went on to the NBA.

I imagine the staff is fully prepared to move quickly on plan B if Kofi announces anything other than his return to Champaign.

I’m just saying it was Levi that turned the tide with the Public League and Illinois basketball regarding Chicago recruiting. Eddie was a much better player, but the recruitment of Levi made it ok for Chicago Recruits to go to Illinois. Eddie didn’t do that. Eddie was a better player and played on better teams, but Eddie didn’t have the effect on changing the perception of Illinois Basketball like Levi Cobb and Audie Matthews

All I’ll say is I’m hoping for 1 more year from Kofi. I’d encourage everyone to think for a moment though how lucky fans of Illinois are that we got to have him as one of our’s for the passed 3 seasons. We’re talking about a once in a generation big. I’d truly be shocked if I get to see another as dominant as him in my lifetime.

Thank you Kofi and I’d selfishly love 1 more season.

I don't care if people transfer in general. I just don't want to see a 2 time all-american transfer his senior year. What's so wrong to be pissed about that? (as a fan...if I saw him in person, I'd congratulate him and wish him well).

I am glad you included Audie Matthews because he came 2 years before Levi came.
