They need to look at what cops they hire for security. There is one video that is basically shot over the shoulder of what looks like a cop in uniform and said cop goes no where near the melee. I probably wouldn’t either, but then I’m not a cop there for a reason.
Tuckers "apology" press conference was pretty laughable. I'm not sure who I dislike more between him and Harbaugh after watching that.

Yes, 100% of the blame belongs on them. I have yet to hear anyone say differently.
But as I just pointed out, Harbaugh was a "grade A d**k" before this and that's one aspect people are pointing out. To some degree, this may have been a consequence of his actions.
And I don't buy the idea that one more touchdown against MSU was going to make one bit of difference in whether they make the playoffs. It's real simple for them. They win out, they're in. They lose a game, they're likely out. But looking at all the scenarios against other teams, a touchdown against MSU won't matter.
I do agree this is essentially 100% on the MSU players. However, to think the general set up of the stadium, the situation, Harbaugh’s terrible sportsmanship, and a lot of other factors in which Michigan has control over didn't contribute is almost being intentionally dense.

Michigan knew there had been problems. James Franklin even pointed it out. Harbaugh and Michigan made fun of him. Michigan has a responsibility to provide a safe environment. They've failed multiple times.

Upon reflection I will concede there are things Harbaugh and Michigan could have done differently which "contributed" to this event's occurrence.
Much in the way Abraham Lincoln would have avoided that messiness in Ford's Theater had he just chosen not to run for president.
As for the playoff scenarios, if history is any guide it is likely one or two of the teams that make the playoff will be one-loss teams. If an extra TD here or there increases the odds for Michigan should they lose a game, even by 1%, it's literally Harbaugh's job to take that into account. Every team in contention for the playoff does it. Every single one. So anyone who doesn't puts themselves at a disadvantage.

If you don't want someone to score on you, stop them from scoring. If you can't do that, it's entirely on you. Neither coaches, players, nor fans should be upset if the other team continues to score. They have every right to play until the game is over.

So I’ve watched it twice and all I’ve seen are Michigan players walking in the tunnel. Don’t see any MSU players.
For the record, there weren’t 2 teams. There were 2….just 2 (!) Michigan players and the MSU team. At least one of the Michigan players didn’t even have pads on due to ACL injury. Look I hate Michiga and think Ann Arbor is a wh@re but this is 100% on MSU players.

There’s something called avoiding trouble too. One report said this occurred in an area that did not lead to the Michigan locker room - so what was a Michigan player doing there? Did he go to taunt the Spartans? Lots of investigating needed.
I’ll not listen to Harbaugh paint a black and white narrative of this situation. It’s happened before at the Crap House.

That tunnel leads to both locker rooms. One locker room is left the other right.

Has Harbaugh answered the question as to why the Michigan players were with the other team? What reason did they have not to be in their locker room with their teammates. In fact, at his press conference he avoided the question. So I do wonder why. And it appears Michigan did nothing after this from James Franklin last year:

To me, we need to put a policy in place from a conference perspective in my mind that's going to stop it. We're not the first team to kind of get into a jawing match in the tunnel. For me, I want to focus on getting my team into the locker room and not jawing back and forth.
"Want my team to get in the locker room and their team to get in the locker room. There really should be a policy that the first team that goes in, there’s a buffer. Because if not, this team starts talking to this team, they start jawing back and forth, and something bad is gonna happen before we put in the policy."

the Michigan players need to heal and then talk to a lawyer to see if they have a civil case against scUM.
I would point to the PSU interaction, and last years O$U tunnel incidents among others. The mitigations scUM put into effect was ineffective knowing they were playing a major rival and the history of the tunnel
Again none of this excuses the MSU players involved

I know we would never think that’s a priority, but at big time program it’s not nothing. I bet he would have been very happy to tell the boosters “you’re welcome” by covering the spread. And I say this as a Harbaugh apologist. I wouldn’t have put it past him to be thinking about that.
That and the fact these schools HATE each other.
