The transfer portal familiar names are a reminder of how many players were openly discussed as priorities for Bielema or Lovie that simply do not pan out.

We probably should have a dedicated thread on potential QB transfer candidates.

Armstrong at Virginia just entered the transfer portal. He had a great junior year, was something of an NFL prospect, and then had an awful senior season for a horrible lost year at Virginia.

He has one year of eligibility remaining and would appear to be a good bounce back candidate.

I took a quick look at Armstrong's background - he committed/decommitted from Minnesota during the spring of his Jr. year/that summer. He's from Ohio and most of his pre-VA commitment recruiting activity was centered on the Big/Midwest.

a fresh set of orange and blue uniforms might be just what he needs. it did wonders for DeVito
