Maybe. But the shelf life on RBs isn’t exactly long. Feels like the move for them is usually to go as soon as they can reasonably go to increase the length of their earnings.I support the young man whatever he does. That being the earliest I would be less shocked if he would come back.
Fairly easy IMHO... Running backs have limited playing cycles before injuries take them out of the game - It's a position that takes a LOT of punishment. So making the NFL bucks WHILE YOU CAN seems the best option ... again IHMO...How so?

That’s really no longer the case anymore. The college landscape has changed completely. Athletes can make money now.Fairly easy IMHO... Yeah I heard... Like a couple of years ago dude... But if you get injured in college, your PRO prospects are diminished.... AND good NFL players still make more than college players...The college landscape has changed completely. Athletes can make money now.
When I last checked late in the regular season Chase was not a Top 100 NFL draft pick. Only Spoon made the cut, somewhere just inside #100.I can't see a scenario where Chase Brown is on this team next year. He's already being considered a top 10 RB in the upcoming draft. I don't see him inking higher than that staying next year.
I get Chase Brown is real talented in the college game. I don't always translate how that goes to the professional level.Yeah I heard... Like a couple of years ago dude... I get it. Chase has a decision to make. Come back and get a guaranteed big amount of money to play one more year in college and avoided a loaded RB class in this years draft and maybe move up to a 3rd round pick and risk injury. Or go in the 5th-7th round and try and make a roster.Fairly easy IMHO... Hold on a sec. Who is Coach McGee? I don't see anybody named McGee on the football staff list. Am I really missing something?

Love Chase as much as any Illini we've seen around in the last 15 or so years. But we all know the risk of an injury and what it could do to a potential NFL career. He has about 750 touches in his college career, if he comes back he'll be 24 years old at the time of next years draft with 1000 touches in college, that's pretty old and a lot of mileage for a running back and for a position where careers are the shortest. How so?

Chase redshirted his Sophomore year after 4 games (first season with Illinois)Do Sydney and Chase have different eligibility circumstances? Cause if Chase is come back, I want Sydney to come back too!!!
