Coach just got back from Lake Decatur?
Im curious as to how many unranked high school players get drafted every year as in Spoons case. Im sure it is rare. It would be cool to compare or see percentages on star kids and the potential to get drafted. Something like " you have X% chance if you are top 100" so on and so forth.
The majority of the first round are all 4 or 5 star out of high schoolIm curious as to how many unranked high school players get drafted every year as in Spoons case. Im sure it is rare. This year it happened 2 times in the 1st Round....last year 3 times in the 1st Round alone. Last two years 63 total First Round picks and 5 not ranked seems high in my opinion.Im curious as to how many unranked high school players get drafted every year as in Spoons case. There is no reason at all that 4 and 5 stars should not want to come get developed for the NFL at CB at Illinois at this point.
Not just drafted, but the first two are balling out in the NFL - Kerby Joseph is a star safety already and even Hobbs is an above average starting CB for a 5th round draft pick - when Devon, Quan and Sydney have the impact we all expect them to, I think it will validate the program even more.
Not sure if it's still true, but for years it was the state with the most players in the NFL per capita.nice!
my oldest son went to OleMiss, that state takes football seriously
