I am not trying to play dumb on this. I am trying to understand the logic. There is a rule that specifically bans in person scouting. So if a team has an assistant on the sidelines that would be a violation. If you pay someone to attend games to record the sidelines of an opponent you will play that year you are scouting and violating the rules.HELLO! It's the same damned rule that you want to nuke Michigan for. SAME DAMNED THING!
How are coaches talking about a common opponent the same thing as advance scouting? I agree you may not like it and think there should be a rule to prevent it. But the other school is not scouting, providing videos from the sidelines or other info that is specifically banned in bylaws. I understand scUM wants people to believe it is the same but I don’t see a way to connect the dots to that conclusion
