Maybe I just miss the posts, but I don’t think many people are advocating for DGL or Nico to play over Ty. I think most people also understand it is BU’s inability to get a legit point guard that has led to Ty playing there and don’t fault Ty for that. Somehow the narrative has been created created that if you express concerns about not having a traditional PG, question whether having one would be better than Ty there or express anything critical when assessing his game then you’re a Ty hater. Again, don’t think that’s the case for many either.
That is exactly what several people here are advocating for.
He’s not good on defense.
That team had two all Americans but Trent, DaMonte, Grandison not as good as QG, Marcus, and Ty. Think they were better offensively (mainly because of Kofi) but believe this year’s team is better defensively. Only Trent better than his counterpart.
I think TJ will translate better to the NBA game right now, but I think Ayo is the more lethal player in the mid-range and as a passer. And yeah, I think TJ has to get the nod as the better defender - he punishes screens, and if he jumps the passing lane, it's automatically two going the other direction.

You mean several as in “not many”? I’d say my point that the overwhelming majority are not advocating for that is true. Critiquing his performance doesn’t mean one can’t know he is the best option and certainly doesn’t in and of itself make anyone a Ty hater.
I think the only way to see if the B1G Show is replayed is to go to the BTN website and go through the "What's On TV". I just checked and apparently, the B1G Show was replayed at 8:30 AM CST. However, there is no indication of just what this particular episode is about, there is no description of the content. It's also being replayed at 9 PM, 10 PM and 10:30 CST. Again, I have no idea the content of said show. There's also B1G Today which seems kind of a similar program, at 11AM and 2 PM CST.
I think due to his size he will always be at somewhat of a disadvantage in the style of defense that we run. We don't like to help off shooters (in order to prevent 3 pt attempts) and we try to avoid getting into help and recover situations. Which means that bigger guards will be able to bully him to the basket using booty ball. Not all teams will take advantage, but when they do it'll be tough for DGL to fight that.

I think other than IQ and learning schemes his biggest thing will be adding muscle so he can wall guys off on drives better. Currently he can get pushed through. Beyond that I don’t think his size is awful — seems to have a decently long wingspan
