if luke is healthy coming out of the bowl game can work out for teams and play in the senior bowl, i see him moving up.
teams get their eyes on him, interview him and he's a 3rd rounder. i said it, willing to be wrong.
As much as we all appreciate Luke, he's got too many NFL scouting limitations to be a Day 2 pick. You can't get away with his size at the next level without some combination of elite arm strength/accuracy/athleticism. As dumb as it sounds, the truth is that someone like Drew Allar will always have better chance of going Day 2 despite getting hurt and zero accuracy on the run because you can't teach 6'5" 230 with physical tools

My son said he read for Illini fans to wear blue. I assume because of Tn orange or their faux orange.
I guess I assumed that was our uniform choice, but it would be cool if our fans actually organized themselves enough to pull that off. If that’s really the goal, though, massive fail by the DIA … it should be posted on all social media constantly.

How worried should we be about Tennessee's "quality losses"? 41-44 against now #3 Georgia on Sept. 13th, and 27-33 against now #8 Oklahoma on Nov. 1st.

Not saying they are unbeatable, but it feels like a win won't come easy. Haven't researched what all went on in those 2 games, just the final scores.

In that game we had everyone other than PB. In this game we’ll be missing our three best non-QB players.

BB said in a video that it's navy in Nashville. Thankfully I have a navy Illini hoodie that I can still somewhat fit in to.

Been watching Tennessee all morning. DANG that offense is good. I think Heupel is a great schemer. Aguilar can get "chucky" when facing 3rd and long so I could see a pick or two if we can get them in that down and distance. I don't see our defense doing much to slow them down.

That being said, their defense is garbage. I think Bielema ensures we junk up the game similarly to the South Carolina matchup last year.

34-31 ILLINI

Their offense will not be anywhere near it's full capability without Chris Brazzell II. Dude is a stud.

Getting teams in 3rd and long scares the crap out of me. It typically results in a first down.

I will certainly enjoy, but don't think there's anything wrong with talking about the game and wanting to win.

Those are 2 impressive losses, especially the Georgia one, which does tell be something about Tennessee.
Sometimes I honestly DO think it's helpful to step back and think about thinks from a less objective, data-backed way every once in a while. And to that end, it's obvious Tennessee is a good team even if they haven't snagged any great wins. We can't control what Tennessee shows up, but for us it could be a as simple as this...

1. Bring the effort we had at Wisconsin, and we will get smoked.
2. Bring the effort we had against Purdue, and we are playing with fire ... we could beat Tennessee if they don't bring it, and we are unlikely to if they do.
3. Bring the effort we had against USC, and we can beat 'em.

Received my I Fund tickets today! Is anyone else having trouble moving the tickets from their Seat Geek App to their Apple Wallet?

Yes, I get what get are saying and don't disagree, but compared to what? 3rd and short? That scares me to, as did 4th and short. I guess I just don't have any confidence in our defense getting stops period.

I don't think they can be added to apple wallet. Just through the Seat Geek app.
Indeed. Here's a note from my ticket confirmation email:

NOTE: Tickets at Nissan Stadium cannot be added to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay – please make sure to have your tickets accessible via the SeatGeek website or app prior to arriving at Nissan Stadium.

Too bad technology has almost entirely replaced paper tickets.

indeed

I always liked the ability to have paper tickets in my pocket/wallet/hand

some things about new technology just don’t always make things “better”

WE get 12+ minutes of Aaron Henry, and only 3 minutes with BLj ? ? ? What's with that ?

we may never see a better student/athlete/loyslist than Luke , ever
He wasn't on the field, but he was in attendance and loudly cheering and supporting the kids at the Tom Jones Challenger League All Star baseball game for kids with disabilities. It's a great organization and they do great work.

My son's baseball team helps with it every year. After it was over I was near him and thanked him for coming as it was a pretty big deal for all the kids there to see him.

I do agree that he's a stud and it will negatively impact them, of course, not having him. Still have a couple other dudes at WR. No one near Brazzell's level but I think their offensive fall off is way less than our defensive fall off without Jacas and Bailey.
