We need a new AD immediately, and he must give Groce another year or there's a real possibility that we miss on major targets. These 2017 recruits aren't going to commit until they see Groce gets another year. (Pickets was a great commit). According to Piper, Williams and Goodwin are waiting...

I don't mind him shooting, but he just got into the game and on the first pass to him, he chucks it?!?!? At least get warm and into the flow of the game.

I think I finally lost it when Austin comes into the game, the ball crosses half court and is passed to him at the top of the key & he immediately jacks up a 3. Misses badly btw.

Do we not teach "blocking out?" How about some fundamentals???

I'm not one of those that is always negative, as I was one that also predicted a win and this game would be the "turning around" point for us. I think winning is what turns opinions around on this board.

No way, IMO. I think he'll be our starting pg by the Big Ten season opener.

I wish we could stop demonizing those that are worried or negative about the state of Illinois Basketball. Great win last night, and we're all enjoying it, however, it doesn't mean that everything's fine with Illini BB. I'm a huge fan, and loyal, but I'm also really worried about mediocrity...

Game plan goes to Coach but making the baskets and creativity goes to the players. So it wasn't ALL Groce. Great team effort so bring on Nebraska.
