I just wanted to see this again. The absolute antithesis of “Everyday guys”We need to put the “everyday guys” phrase to rest. As a composite, this team was the exact opposite of everyday guys. Everyday guys implies that we work harder and smarter than the opposition. That was not remotely close to being true this year.
They say... hear I am. Look at me. Loooove me.skyy tk louisville right when the game ended
Not arguing, genuinely curious--what would you want him to change about the staff and scheme?I'm 100% confident learned from this years fiasco and makes major changes for next year including staff, players, and scheme
I N I......................................MM with 2 points.....sat for almost all of the second half and it was the right call......That's my gripe w/ Brad this year--if someone isn't running the offense they need to sit, no matter how high our expectations were. I suspect that Brad thought these guys would play through it and step up, but that's not what happened. Still, it was a fun season and even some of the losses were great games (although some weren't).
I-L-L!!
Yeah that was definitely some Guam cheeseTo paraphrase Snoop Dog, “They were consistent
... ly bad.”
Oh for sure. This game was his swan song, 100% in character.I N I......................................MM with 2 points.....sat for almost all of the second half and it was the right call......
We won’t recognize next year’s team
Such a disappointment this season after such hope at the beginning of the season.
Definitely need to reset. Change to the staff would help. If using the portal, find guys that fit your culture and identity. If you don’t have one, build one. Chemistry is just as important as finding a PG and shooter.
True and didn't become a team because some of them didn't want to.Very good roster of individually talented players. Never became a team.
I’m a huge Brad supporter, but can you tell coach to infuse some variety in his schemes? Shrewsberry (and coaches who are great tacticians) coaching circles around us and our lack of success in set plays will be a hinderance in future postseasons. We won’t recognize next year’s team
That's not real is it? You can't print that! Two words review:

That's actually my problem with dain. He's not aggressive enough on the boards and even offensively he's only effective within close proximity to the hoop and with ample time. He also does not finish through the contact enough either. I just find him to lack dimmension as a basketball player regardless of how nimble he can be on offense at times. If this was TSJ's last game in college, I want to say I respect what he tried doing out there today. He played hard and with a lot of effort on both ends of the floor. He played downhill and tried his hardest. Our freshmen in Sencire and Ty shook off their first half jitters and played great second halves. Based on how they played I think we were 4 minutes too late getting them in the game, but they did a really solid job for us. Dain also had a good tourney showing and played with the aggressiveness on the boards we'll need in seasons to come. And RJ flat out showed up tonight. It's a shame injury kept him from doing this all season.
It was a really frustrating year as a fan, but I see a lot of promise with our young core. Gut feel is next year we'll be better, and the year after that will have a team that can make a deep deep run. Lock down our young core, get a talented PG, and an offseason in the weight room will do us wonders. For as much as watching this year's team frustrated me, I look forward even more to seeing next year's.
I love a well-placed Spinal Tap reference. That's not real is it? You can't print that!
Isn't it a little bit of an oxymoron to be looking for "team first kind of guys" in a portal of players leaving their current team? Not the ending any of us hoped for. Looking ahead, I hope that we bring in team first kind of guys from the portal. I also am hopeful that RJ and Luke stay the course, as well as our freshmen. Hoping specifically that the mid and late season concerns re RJ and Epps not appearing happy at times is just the ebbs and flows of a grueling season filled at times with frustration.
Bringing in two decent rated freshmen next year leaves us with a lot of gaps. CoHawk is likely gone as he appears in many mocks as a late first to mid second round pick. Hoping he returns.
Lots of work to do in the portal in my opinion. Please, please, please find shooters, a solid big that can make free throws and minimize turnovers; and team first, every day guys.
No, just another emotional, unintelligent comment amongst the other hundreds of them.Just curious, why a change to the staff? Head coach sure....assistants ?
