Hey I'm definitely not enamored with Cutler. Just look at the facts. Flacco has played in a lot of playoff games, but Cutler has a career completion % of 61.7, 183TD, 130 Int with a QB rating of 85.2. Flacco is 60.6%, 148-90 and 84.8. Big difference. I recommend you buy a tv and watch some games.
In an age where so many advanced metrics are available, why does anyone still insist that there's value in QB ratings? Silliness abound!
I'll take Flacco, the guy who's started EVERY GAME in his 7 year career, where's he's taken his team to the playoffs in 6 of his 7 seasons; who's team has a career regular-season record of 72-40; who's team has a career 10-5 record in the playoffs, including a Super Bowl victory, for which he was named MVP; who's had just 1 season of more than 12 interceptions...
Over Cutler, a QB who's only been to the playoffs in 1 season out of 9; who's led the league in interceptions twice.
Cutler has played on teams with tremendous defenses, he's had dynamic players on offense - yet he continues to stare in the mirror at mediocrity.
To simply post stats without analysis is aggressive in its laziness. Cutler's stats are full of fluff pieces. How many games last season did Cutler pad stats against an opposing defense who had a gigantic lead, allowing Cutler to throw at will, victory in hand? Remember Green Bay? The Saints?
Ah, poppy seeds. They sucked me in again. Jay Cutler fanboys: in love with perpetual shat.
