So my wife and are are getting a dog this weekend and wanted to name her something that had to do with the Cubbies/winning the World Series. Any suggestions?? We already came up with Wrigley and Ivy plus a lot of boy names but we are getting a girl pup.

Help my non imaginative brain! :eek:

Love the ideas. We have thought about Maddie and I like Addy as well. I'll have to see what the wife thinks! Thanks all!

A friend of my sister's named her daughter Addison about 10 years ago. Yeah, she's a big Cubs fan.

Yep, I like that move actually in spite of Hammel have a really good year. Must be some other free agent candidates they like better.

Looks like they want to fill the spot with either Montgomery or Zastrysny (sp.?). Also interesting comments by Montero over the weekend ripping Maddon. Surprising since he is still signed for next year.

I was honestly wondering the whole time when we were gonna see Montero. Hitters struggling and he had been hitting well and has been clutch the previous rounds. Then comes in finally in game 7 and drives in the winning run. I totally get his frustration
