If Moser wasn't happy with the level of NIL $ at OK, I can only assume he'll have less $ to work with at Depaul.
Funniest possible outcome if it really was a bluff. He has to be praying NW, Loyola or Marquette comes open...Depaul is a coaching death-trap.

Porter told everyone he had the buyout situation figured out … He clearly did not …

Now has to go back on his word with DePaul and try and fix things at OU …

Yikes … 😬

Just thinking how nice it is to not want your coach to get fired. I've ignore all those calls for his head over the past couple years as irrational.

If there was a B10 coach of the "last five years" it would be Underwood or Painter. Funny how they are never mentioned. I guess you really have to suck the year before.
Painter has 4 of them, one as recently as '19 works against him. I think if BU is top 3 again this upcoming year it's his trophy.

Hoiberg going from the basement to the tourney where NU hasn't been in 10 years and their 2nd time in 25 vs BU's consistency & coaching them up 2-3 spots... it doesn't seem unfair for him to win.

Some of the names Borzello mentions in regards to the coaching carousel (some of which have already been mentioned here):

Latest on the big openings
-Ohio State: FAU's Dusty May and South Carolina's Lamont Paris still in the mix. Also have interest in Xavier's Sean Miller and Washington State's Kyle Smith. If Diebler leads the team to win the B1G Tournament, he could have the interim tag dropped and be the permanent head coach.
-Washington: Utah State's Danny Sprinkle has been the name with the most buzz for several weeks. The AD has interest in other candidates, including Kyle Smith.
-West Virginia: Dusty May perceived as the top target. Other names linked include Mark Byington (JMU), Darian DeVries (Drake), Niko Medved (Colorado State), Josh Schertz (Indiana State), Pat Kelsey (Charleston), Dustin Kerns (Appalachian State). Also been some speculation regarding Chris Jans (Mississippi State)
-DePaul: Porter Moser (though talks aren't advanced as social media would lead you to believe; school appears willing to pony up money for his $6.5 million buyout at OU). Other names linked include Bobby Hurley (Arizona State), Mark Byington, and Andy Kennedy (UAB).

Other jobs which could open this week
-Louisville
-Stanford
-Vanderbilt
-Oklahoma State
-Arizona State
-NC State
-SLU (which could lead to Schertz ending up there)
-Fresno State (Justin Hutson's contract runs out at the end of the season)
-Florida State (with the season they've had, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Leonard Hamilton retire)

Favorites for open jobs
-Missouri State: Ben McCollum (D-II Northwest Missouri State)
-Pepperdine: Jake Diebler, David Riley (Eastern Washington)
-Hampton: Ivan Thomas (Georgetown assistant)
-William & Mary: Kotie Kimble (Miami (FL) assistant who was an assistant at W&M for 8 years)
-Western Carolina: Tim Johnson (Furman assistant)
-Central Arkansas: TJ Cleveland (Wichita State assistant), Solomon Bozeman (Arkansas-Pine Bluff head coach), Jalen Courtney-Williams (Creighton assistant)

UCLA isn't firing Mick ...

And I have been told Bobby is likely to stay at ASU after all ... Could change but he just got a recent donation of NIL which would probably make ASU better than DePaul for him ...
My source was drunk Larry (tequila). I'm goin with you Indy
