Looks like the going rate for an assistant coach with a 5* son is almost $400k/yr

If this happens, would Groce be in play at ISU? That would be interesting.

But according to some here on Loyalty, he was the top pick to replace Groce.
BREAKING: Dayton will hire Anthony Grant as its next head basketball coach, per a source. Former head coach at both Alabama and VCU.
That's a good hire for them

Outstanding move by Dayton. Grant is going to kill it. Maybe Groce can take his spot with Oklahoma City for a year or two and rebuild cred?
The only reason Grant went to OKC was because of his past relationship with Donavan. He was an assistant at Florida for around 10 years. I don't see Groce being offered that opportunity.
Man that Dayton hire is as out of left field as Underwood to Illinois. Props to Dayton.
Grant played at Dayton. Looking for another Head Coaching position. Dayton's a great job.....good resouces and fan base.

FWIW, Seattle U hires Eastern Washington's Jim Hayford as its new head coach:

Is that a step up?
