I think this is maybe just a glitch in the system. It would have to be a stupid sized offer to justify potentially burning bridges with the likely future B1G commish, as the conference heads forward gigantism and $$$.

I’m not an insider, but I’m inclined to believe the insiders and if it is true that BU’s seeking/entertaining other job offers, I can’t say that I blame him.
Dude’s had a tough go of it the past couple of years.
Key players have transferred, assistant coaches have left, he’s dealt with injuries (last year we had the most missed games by starters of any team in the NCAA).
+ he’s underperformed in the tourney the past 3 years in a row souring some of the goodwill he’s built up with the fan base.
So I could understand him wanting a fresh start, where he could reset expectations (here, we’re in “win-now mode”, whereas at a new spot, he’ll have a few years to build his culture again).
I respect Brad as a coach and I hope he stays. If not though, let’s get a home run hire.
