Man, the college basketball world is changing so much over the last few years. I would hate to lose another quality coach in the NCAA in Self. More importantly, I hope he is well and it is nothing serious with his health. If he is stepping away, I hope he’s just ready to enjoy his well earned retirement and appreciate everything he has been to the game… regardless of how many times I am frustrated with him poaching anyone he wants (feels like it anyway) on demand over the years. ;)

Insiders, are the chances still pretty decent that GA is the staff shakeup that may happen? If so, is he getting another AC gig somewhere or, is it a HC position? If GA leaves is there a possibility of a previous IL AC coming back?

We haven't really clashed after a recruit with Self since 2015 Carlton Bragg? Definitely the last big big one was Cliff Alexander. That one didn't work out too well for Bill.

My anger at Self died a long time ago. We just rarely ever cross paths. Heck are the last 2 times we've played Kansas when Self was our coach?

Boeheim took at least two transfers off of us, that I can think of - Alan Griffin and Ryan Blackwell. Is he now claiming principled opposition, or something less revisionist?
If so, he’s a crybaby; and he’s full of crap. He didn’t like it when the playing field got evened somewhat.

Syracuse broke more rules than the Roman Catholic Church…back in the day.
He had a lot of eyeballs on the them; post violations and pre-NiL.

Remember when he was gonna step down after he “made sure the program was on good footing?”…lol
(or something to that effect)…but then he just more or less…waited out the news cycle(s) and hung around indefinitely…

The "if so" in this sentence makes it seem like this is your first introduction to Jim Boeheim.

If "personality traits of Jim Boeheim" was a Family Feud category, "crybaby" and "full of crap" would be among the top three responses.

Okay, my bad. He’s a consistent crybaby…and he’s often full of crap.
That’s a given…

AND He’s apparently a BLATANT liar. (There is a difference) and a dumb one at that IF he’s acting like he never utilized the portal. Which he obviously has. Lol
