Playing too helter skelter, like little brother playing big brother in the driveway. Play quick not fast. Stop passing up open shots to a turnover or have to throw one up at end of clock. Coach said we were going to play easy and loose... so do it!
It's actually 8 TOs for us on both CBS and Fox scorecards.

The problem is what will change? If it’s we start shooting a bit better and have fewer TOs, great … we’ll make it a game. But this is win or go home!!! The fundamental mental state, body language, outlook, etc. has to change during halftime. It’s depressing sitting here just hoping against hope for that, and you can see it on the faces of the miserable Illini fans they’ve shown on TV, lol.
It is between their ears. It's in their head. I am convinced they think they are not going to make the shot when they take one. These guys are not mentally tough. The entire team has the yips when it comes to shooting. And then they let it affect EVERY other aspect of their game. That may have been the worst first half this year, thank God the Hogs are equally inept, or we would be down 25.
We haven't been an NCAA tournament quality team in months. Our only win over a tournament team since January 14th was at home against Northwestern.
True enough, but this team has the spirit to take on all comers in the third half.
