I agree that Goode seems to be overlooked on potential. I'm not sure what to expect, but I thought I heard on a radio broadcast that Underwood predicted him to be a 1,500 point scorer at Illinois. That seems optimistic and not positive it is accurate. Has anyone else heard this as an Underwood quote?

TyTy had posted a photo of the two of them standing next to each other awhile back. If TyTy is 6'3", then Skyy is probably an inch or so shorter.
That was like 7th or 8th grade? I am not sure if he mentioned the exact time.

We're projected #6 without TSJ/Murray on Torvik
We’re gonna end up as a 2-seed in a bracket with San Diego State as an under-seeded 7-seed, aren’t we? AREN’T WE?!

This was at the beginning of the season, so RJ could’ve grown since this picture, but that is a decent difference if you ask me…

2 kids that have a ton of upside. Luke may have more pro potential than most think and I have always been high on RJ. Luke can definitely shoot, guard, and switch off on bigs on pick & rolls. 2023 is going to be fun again. We are starting to have a roster that rivals the current blue blood, and Underwood is not afraid to change his style of play. Just think if we had this roster and played the D that Underwood brought in year 1. No one would want to play us

If Kofi comes back next year due to NIL, is it insane to believe he wouldn't do so his optional Covid year. Part of me would hate to see it for his sake, but he'd set a record for double doubles that could never be broken. Four time All-American? Rest of the B1G would probably chip in to pay an NBA team to draft him to make sure he is gone.

If Kofi loses 20-ish lbs. this summer to improve his quickness, and shows better timing and guarding the PandR.....he gone.

Goode's neck is clearly WAY longer than RJ's. I hope we recruit over him. Can't have that deficiency on this up-and-coming team!
Wasted inches...can we get a picture of Cohawk and Payne before he transfers....got to find out who is taller...

Kofis body fat is darn low. He is just a big dude. I don't think he can lose 20lbs unless he loses muscle mass or quits lifting. I don't see that happening. He isn't chunky like Dain.

10 lbs. would still go a long way....I thought he looked a few times....like he was winded/hurting/laboring, later in the season.

He may have been. He is a big man but still he is very lean and not sure how much he can lose. He actually be did cut weight to get to 285. He may be able to improve his conditioning but I don't think it will be due to losing weight. He already cut 15 lbs and I saw him with his shirt off. He is very cut and very lean even at 285.

Is this video before the ACL injury or post-injury?
I don't know, but would think that given no knee brace/wrap of any kind, it is almost certainly pre-injury.

I'm a bit slow on the uptake (ask my wife), but it just dawned on me that Skyy's shout outs to Fletch during the commitment video likely have to do with conversations they've had on working to get that knee back to 100%. I tend to think of him as the man who gets our team looking the way they do on the floor, but his role in injury prevention and recovery is critical as well.
