MSU played like they absolutely did not want to go 1-4. Refs letting them play added to their physicality. Super rough game in the paint

Maybe as good as filling up the stat sheet was a subtle play where he is falling down and taps the ball out to Ty, gets back up and subtlety floats to the 3-pt line so no one sees him and then nails a dagger 3. Elite smarts and sees things no one else does. “Beautiful Mind”15pts on 9 shots

Goode came up big on a number of rebounds which was key in this game. Without TSJ he is important even without taking a lot of shots.

Goode has been asked to play a different role with TSJ out. With TSJ a lot of focus goes off Goode. He gets to focus on being the 3-point shooter with some open shots. W/out TSJ he doesn't get many open looks at all. That being said, he's a hell of a rebounder and really works on the defensive end. Don't sell Goode short. He'll hit a big one in March that may be the difference in a Final Four visit or not.

It wasn't just that he couldn't back down their guards, Sparty kept Sissoko in the key, and if you re-watch, they were almost running a matchup zone at times, and we didn't rotate a good outside shooter to provide an outlet.
Yup. The guys seemed a little under the weather. Rodgers came out hot and when he hit a wall, we all knew.
Turns out five guys plus Brad and coaches are sick. I guess we're lucky it wasn't the whole team.
Knew we would get a motivated and desperate MSU team. We got exactly and then some. They punched us hard in the mouth at the end of first/beginning of 2nd half. Proud of our boys for the response and ultimately coming out on the right side of a Pizza Hut parking lot brawl.

My PG Ty Rodgers with a career high 15 points and dynamite defense......he can literally jump out of the gym.......
Harmon with 10 points and 2 crucial 3 pointer's...........
The Doctor Domask with an all around great game , playing 40 minutes and double figures in points and a lot of assists and reb's.........
QG with another all around great game.....A man on the court...........
Cohawk with one of his better games and his 3 point shooting has vastly improved......
Goode was goode on D , but I really wish he had made that first FT of the 1 and 1......I really really do........
Dain was good in limited minutes, working his magic around the rim.........
For those who have been dogging cohawk all year long , I hope you finally realize how important he is to this team......especially with TSJ not playing......
I knew the zero-izzo's would play it tough down to the wire........They did benefit from some questionable calls , especially the blocking foul on cohawk when Hoggard just run into him about the arc.........But it was an ok job by the refs.......

Yep and he's the guy who really came on with the scoring when TSJ had to pause his playing.
MSU looked to be quicker, higher jumpers, better cutters, better at driving to the rim, yet we were winning for almost the entire game.
Good teams find a way to win these types of games.
