BU just told Raftery that they had had 4-5 guys sick and had to take 3 days off in a row from practicing. With that in mind, that makes this win even more impressive
Yeah, we just didn't seem to play as tough on D as we usually do and the O was horrible at times, 4-5 guys sick will do that to a team.

Great seeing us grind one out. And for those complaining about officiating we shot 22 free throws they shot 7. Just sayin …….
Thank you for this. The 5 on 8 commentary, when we shot three times as many free throws and Walker was in foul trouble from the jump.....is tiresome. We literally won that game at the line.

I think it shows the high basketball IQ and unselfishness of the team.
Hearing about guys being sick, got to give credit to them for gutting this one out. Also credit to the staff this year. Much better play out of TO's several times tonight. They have been pulling all the right strings this year. Gotta maintain the intensity and not let a team like Maryland come in and steal one. Big opportunity to move up near the top 5 this week. Lets GO!!!!!!
Good point about coming out of a timeout. When Izzo called a TO with just over 2 min to go, they came back on the floor with about 20 seconds. I thought, don't fall for a set play backdoor, alley-oop, or pick and pop set play. And they didn't.

I think MSU had a few over the backs when they had tap outs over Hawkins who looked like he boxed out and there looked like there was some contact
Mich St. seems to do this every year imo. It must be an Izzo teaching point. One hand on the back to help propell and hold other player down while tapping the ball back. They never get called for it.
