Hawkins and others need to have cuts towards the basket as well. In Texas game Coleman did a couple cuts towards the hoop. It is a makable shot for him and it draws the defense.
So this afternoon I was in Louisiana at the Tabasco factory when the Illini got hot and I wasn’t able to watch the game, just track the score. Weather was so hot I took off my “I”-labeled pullover, exposing the Orange “Hail to the Orange” T-shirt I had caught at an Illini women’s basketball game. Look, I’ll wear the T-shirt and the Tabasco I can certainly managebut the team is going to have to do without me being in Cajun country.
Glad we are back to the analysts coming up with a better game plan after we win.
Is this our team? Or did we just have hot shooting game (>50% 3p)? I personally think our 3p shooting against Wisconsin was an outlier and we shouldn't count on that.
I would like to believe this is beginning of a new run and back to our original top 10 team we all believed in after the Texas win....then came Penn State and Mizzou.

Chucky Hepburn scored 22 points and Steven Crowl added 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the first loss for the Badgers (11-3, 3-1 Big Ten) since Nov. 29.
Freshman Jayden Epps added 15 off the bench for the Illini (10-5, 1-3), who made 10 of 19 3-point attempts.
I agree with this. However, the ball movement and spacing were better. which led to more in rhythem shots.

Sort of. Only 19 shots, which is 8 below their season average. They were much better looks. Probably 6 of the 10 makes were inside out passes. Much better chance at making those, for some anatomical (I presume) reason.

And the answer is still a NO, based upon 2-1/2 years of evidence. But with that said, perhaps he's about to turn the corner.
And we only took 19 threes, our lowest total of the year. We weren't dependant on them.

Execution and flow was significantly better. Started game by going in the paint which opened up 3 point line thus creating open 3’s

Agree. I thought it was important yesterday that his first points came on a little jumper in the lane. A CoHawk who works inside out is a good CoHawk.
