Same sources that said Tilmon was on board?

Here we go. Did he also require $30K when he first announced for Memphis and if so did he have to return it? Is he even worth $30K? Does this narrative change if Whitman hires Cuanzo to succeed Gorce? So many questions...
No way he is a first rounder.
This is the NBA.

Ulis is a first round pick, some mocks even have him to the bulls at 14. He wasn't big enough to play at Illinois either was he? I'm rooting for him and I think he will be successful. Continuing to undermine his talents because we whiffed on him is such a bad look.

That's cheap
I know Rose's crew wanted 40K.

I like Ulis' chances of being a good NBA player. Not a superstar, he'll always be limited by his size, but he uses angles and leverage to get his shot up as well as any little guy I've seen and he is just an absolute warrior of a player. He's a culture-making guy, and NBA teams want that.
This isn't me being a hater, but I'd venture to say he won't get a second nba contract. I think he's got good footwork and everything, but he just doesn't have the other freak essentials to survive as a short nba player like strength (i.e. earl boykins and nate robinson), or scoring ability (Isaiah Thomas and ty lawson[denver ty]).
I could easily be wrong, but I'm still not buying the hype particularly in this 2000ish looking draft class where numerous 1st round guys wont get second contracts.

Ulis is the type of kid who has been growing up with naysayers his whole life and time after time he proves them wrong. I expect the NBA to be no different in that regard.
