Why not let him finish his season? They're playing for a national title.
If he's going to commit, just sit back and be patient. I think it's kinda cool he's waiting to announce so it doesn't take the focus away from what his team is trying to accomplish.

Tyger is a baller. I don't care if he's undersized, he's a pitbull with great poise and basketball IQ for a kid his age.
Watching him play, I would've guessed he was a Junior or Senior.
I like Tyger. GOing to Lalu was the best move he could have made. He is going to be great. I think we have a good shot there.

Tilmon had a quite a few moves today that looked like an NBA big man, he didn't finish on some of them but he puts himself in good positions.
Footwork is one of the hardest things to develop for young big men and he has some sweet feet. He also has nice touch which tells me a consistent jumper isn't too far away.

My sources are telling me Illinois is very interested in Jeremiah Tilmon.
Again....no need to private message....I only post what I know....and I know that this is a done deal (but not sure on timing, sounds like he was waiting to finish up) thought it was common knowledge so stopped by to post congrats....cheers...

His ceiling may not be very high, but IMO he's a 4 year glue guy who will play his !!! off. Maybe like a Kalin Lucas. He plays wise beyond his years which hopefully means he has leadership traits as well.

Agreed. If optimism persists until noon on April 7th when the dead period ends, i'll be on commitment watch.
I do believe JT plans on committing soon after the 7th so he can get on campus to do it.. But that's a lot of time for a blue blood coach to convince him to let this play out.

Right, the only point is as long as he hasn't made it public, other schools will aggressively pursue if they wish, and it's easier to have a change of heart.
I don't question the accuracy of any information, just what it means. I don't have a problem accepting Tilmon has decided to commit to Illinois, and will decide in the future when he'll announce. All that means is we strongly lead, and the chance of him changing his mind, no matter how slim, is larger than after he publicly commits.
Also, I feel like today is really "no change" from where we've been at least since the Williams commit, maybe longer.
Now this one made me laugh out loud....
This thread is going to be more silly than usual, and that's on the heels of all of this Chastain nonsense.
