BTW, no offense my Illini friend. I've sat drunk in many a corner...... :eek: Corner bus stop, corner booth at Denny's/IHOP, corner of my mind.....lol. ;)

Haha no, the name came from trying to make other people feel awkward, and it just kind of stuck. Just a college kid who drinks too much and cares way too much about Illinois athletics

Trying not to read too much into this, but the one clear inference is that he is not ready to commit to IU. After being recruited for 5 years, if you are not ready to commit 16 days before early signing day, the odds are you will never be.

Before the weekend I would have handicapped this at 45% UCLA, 40% IU, 15% UI. I think it's more 50% UCLA, 20% IU, 30% UI.

Still unlikely, but I think we have a better shot than IU at this point.

Did Alford hand deliver those tickets the other day or what? So the father and brother were supposed to attend HH but just decided to go to DR instead? Or was that a pre-planned feint intended to through people off? Interesting stuff....

Pretty sure they were never going and it was just bad reporting.

I am not for sure if his father and brother went to the DR with him. I know he was there with his girlfriend based on her twitter.

It was tweeted out that Alford was in town to visit Wilkes several days before HH and during that time it was also tweeted out that Wilkes father and brother would be in attendance at HH. So I dug into my closet and got out my Sherlock Holmes hat and opium pipe and after putting both to good use I deducted that Alford must have delivered a package that would keep them out of the evil clutches of Clappy!:suspicious:
