I think what he’s saying is that isn’t going to happen.

I never claimed it would happen. I just think it's kind of ridiculous that several here have claimed that our staff would not listen if the kid basically decided he actually did want to come here out of some notion that they only want ball players who want to be here (especially given that him saying he wants to be means that, well... he wants to be here).

Again, I am not saying this is probable. I only claim that it's silly when people suddenly saying they don't want him here anyway.

Someone should do a study on the correlation between recruiting filled with drama and excess attention seeking and less than stellar on court performances at the next level. Maybe nothing there, but would love to see the results.

Agree that the “we don’t want him now” stuff is silly. And obviously if Nolley called the staff and said he wanted to commit to play for UI, we’d take him.

I just construed what TC said as “You’re wasting your time debating a scenario that isn’t going to happen.”

Exactly!

What ever happened to elijah?

He stunk it up, just like the Aggies as a whole, and got very little playing time his freshman year, then transferred to Clemson and averaged 7.5 ppg and 16.9 mpg last year.

EDIT: Actually A&M tied UK for first in the SEC his freshman year and then just didn't do jack in the tournament. The more you know.

Since when is methodical a "devious attribute"? :noidea:

Not to pile on but it was my original sentence, I also don't get why "methodical" is considered devious. I thought it was a fairly innocuous comment. I certainly did not intend to give it any underlying meaning. Color me confused.

Methodical definition - done according to a systematic or established procedure.
"a methodical approach to the evaluation of computer systems"
synonyms: orderly, well ordered, well organized, well thought out, planned, well planned, efficient, businesslike, coherent, systematic, scientific, structured, logical, analytic, formal, regular, well regulated, disciplined;

To me seems like a positive attribute. But that is subjective
