I've got an idea that we will be very happy with the additions of ALL 3 recruits coming aboard............I think PG is Epps to lose , that Ty will be either a starter or at least 20-25 minutes a game player.........Harris has that bulldog mentality and it might be hard to keep him OFF the court......

Now add in Skyy Clark and a transfer stud and set back and smell the gummy bears........

Just my very very humble opinion...........................humblest of the humbled masses.............................lowest of the low...................not noteworthy in any shape or form.................................pure rambling's of an uninformed carbon unit..............................
IMO, if we add TJS and Hawk stays as it appears he will then it may be difficult for Ty to start. Who are you going to sit out of TJS, RJ, or Hawk. He will play but I would expect our starters to be Sky, RJ, TJS, Hawk and Kofi. That's if the domino's fall like I hope. Plus Goode finished strong and his stroke looks legit and was even ahead of RJ most of the year. I am excited to add Ty and have big hopes but I don't expect I'm to start.

Let's try to start all 6 and see if anyone notices...Purdue started 8 against us @SFC and they got away with it. šŸ˜

My thoughts were as of now ......pre- TJS.......of course him or any other high value transfer would make for adjusting the thoughts then.......

Yep, it appears that Shannon is wants to play with Kofi. I didnt know if they were close or as to why but that is the impression I'm getting. If that is the case then I like it.
Wow - keep Kofi, add TSJ and Skyy

that would definitely be a DOMINANT ERUPTION.

If Kofi comes back, Hawkins/Podz/RJ/Goode stay, & TSJ transfers in, I think its going to be very difficult for a non-PG freshman to play more than spot minutes. If one of them can beat out those guys, we've got a monster on our hands.

Pretty good looking prospect here, though he might also be exhausted...

I honestly kinda prefer the idea of Rodgers coming off the bench -- but playing near starter-level minutes -- in any case, at least as a freshman (subject to change if he is just so ridiculously good that it'd be a crime to not start him). I like to have guys with boundless energy coming off the bench, as opposed to somebody like Hawk that seemed to have much better games when he was a starter. Of course, all this depends on how the roster shakes out, but Rodgers seems like a perfect bench piece (to start his career, I don't expect he'll stay there forever) given his on-court demeanor and his ability to sub in for anybody 2-4.

If we add TJS and Hawk, RJ, and Kofi stay, this should be a heck of a team by end of season when the FR guards adjust to college ball. However, none of those dominos has fallen yet.

I think that is all speculation at this point. After the crazy season we just had, I will take the depth. Yes please!

There's a gulf between starter/heavy minutes and spot minutes. While I agree with your main point, that doesn't preclude some of the new guys carving out more than a spot minute role.

This is what good teams do, they stack their rosters with 7-8 starter-level talents and let the chips fall where they may. If a Freshman significantly outplays a Junior/Senior with similar skills, they will get their minutes. All these guys are really confident that they will be Top 5 in minutes played at the beginning of the year. It's just a mindset you have to have to be successful. I welcome the competition and I would hope they do too.
