Piper was saying we are focused on a back up big and leaving one scholly open.I am incorrect, Nance isn't coming
Had to do a double take on who posted this, sounded like a Pruman dream.I had a dream last night, and Pete Nance was in it. He said, why are there so many naked women around here? I said, don't worry about it Pete.
In retrospect, I should have asked for a recruiting scoop.
This has been what we’ve been told for awhile. Just a lot of Nance smoke with him pulling out of the NBA Draft. Nance or some other vet big is what we should expect - with 1 open because Underwood feels like he missed on an opportunity a couple years ago and hit on one last year with Dainja (TBD in our eyes).Piper was saying we are focused on a back up big and leaving one scholly open.
Insiders, Is this now the direction you are hearing?

Thank you.He went to Revere high school in Richfield, Ohio and his agent is from Priority Sports which is based in Chicago. As for the odds of getting him, 10-20% maybe and new things would have to play out probably for him to come to Illinois.
Yeah it's very unlikely now but you never know, things may change. Mayer was considered a UNC lock until he announced even in Illinois circles.I am incorrect, Nance isn't coming
I'm not sure how to address such delusion. I think I'll just move along. It will help our new players and recruits identify their potential place in our history.
This has been the prevailing thought on TOS for almost a week now.
Makes sense. Can see Nance wanting to play the 4 instead of the 5 and Mayer is pretty clearly signed up to play that spot.I believe that it was either / or re Nance and Mayer, never both.
Coach said lets get one, take the first commit.
As it's been stated here, now looking for a big and one open scholarship.

Keep delivering the quality content, ReeseA few questions: Where did Nance go to high school? I assume that he, like other players in the portal, has an agent. I also assume his agent will be part (NIL) of the recruiting process, probably more so than the NCAA likes? I assume our collective of deep pocketed alums will work with that agent? Any help appreciated; I'm working on an article. Finally, what are our odds with Nance? Would you say 50-50?
Too much Steve Lanter talk perhaps?

Worth noting we sidelined those for the ENTIRE 2005 season and when we busted them out in 2006, we got our !!! kicked in Iowa City to break a very long regular season winning streak.View attachment 18436
I wish we had these blues in the rotation instead

Yup.
I can't see both of these players on the same team, someone or both would be unhappy.
I think it is a pretty universal type if dream in the male kingdomHad to do a double take on who posted this, sounded like a Pruman dream.
That is an impressive discussion.
Are there any playable PF/Cs out there?
ie someone better than Lieb, who doesn’t seem quite ready to contribute yet.
How I wish either BBV or Payne had stayed.
