Never thought I would say this but I really fill sorry for Rory today
Why. He didn't sell himself out to a regime that uses a chainsaw to dispose of protesters and openly persecutes women and LGBTQ.

The PGA is the one I feel sorry for. They have completely caved and compromised themselves for the Almighty Allah Capitalism.

Total embarrassment for the sport and our country.

4-star Simeon Wilcher, 6’3 PG in the class of 2023, just decommitted from UNC. Ranked 28th in the class. Any way in, insiders? Held an offer from DePaul but I’m unsure if TA would’ve been there for that recruiting.

EDIT: Indy posted… I like that

Agree with the vast majority of your post. Agree that Rodgers isn't a PG, but you're selling him short. I agree with "bit of handles". What isn't mentioned is his passing and decision making are borderline superb. Yeah, his handles aren't near PG level, but he's a really good facilitator. I'd give him enough rope and see what he can (and can't) do.
Another concern I have about Ty at the point is that it would take away what I saw as his greatest strength last season. I thought he showed an incredible nose for the ball and gave us numerous extra opportunities at baskets by outmuscling and outhustling our opponents' front court players for rebounds. You move him away from the basket and into a position where he has to stay back and prevent fast break buckets, this takes away his ability to bring this strength to the table.

Caught some Wilcher highlights. Really think he’d be a great fit if we can get him. Had the ball in his hands a lot in high school, very good ball-handler who’s shifty and adept at getting to his spots. Gets to the rim well, is a good finisher and can shoot it from outside off the dribble or catch. Good athlete, too.

Unsure about the defense since it was highlights (although he did have a nice help defense strip-steal in one highlight). Would probably need to put a little weight on, but he’s not as skinny as Sencire was. Didn’t see much passing in the highlights either, but could be because it was a highlight reel.

6-4 165? Too skinny.

Joel Goodson

ties will be resolved
Well, I said assist Williams plus still another addition at PG along with Harmon, Harris, and Ty. It seems likely in that order with more experience fir each of the.. It also seems likely we add another guard. I would also think the staff is very in tune with Williams health and likelihood of getting waivers having not played one second at Iowa State.But. I tend to agree that I'm not crazy about Ty playing extensive minutes at PG. However, as to why do I think he will or could play some? Because BU and others said he can. I know I mentioned Bardo and he hopes Ty handles point quite a bit and handles the ball more than Hawkins. Ty clearly can handle the ball well and initiate some offense. I just don't like his lack of shooting. Regardless we are in a better spot than last season with our improved shooters , experience in both new plus returning players, and the likelihood we add yet another guard.

Spot on WRT to Ty. That said, his lack of outside shooting is not going to be a killer because we have enough good shooters to have options. Plus, Rodgers' bread and butter when playing point is mid-range and going to the rack. And, hopefully, his shot and his handles are improved. Having a year under his belt could pay huge dividends. He's far from a conventional point, but he has skills that translate. Gonna be real interesting to see how this goes,
